To offer the best technical education and to mould efficient engineers with moral integrity and social commitment, the service of eminent retired professors of various engineering colleges is utilized in addition to experienced teachers in all the fields. The teachers are also given timely training and introduction programmes to improve their communication skills for overall teaching efficiency.
Admission and Fee Structure
The College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.The rules and regulations for admission and fee structure are as prescribed by the Government of Kerala from time to time. There is also a provision for Diploma holders to pursue B.Tech Degree course by direct admission through Lateral Entry Scheme.The duration for the completion of B. Tech Degree course is 4 years (8 semesters). The annual intake is 60 students per batch.
Campus Selection
This is the only new generation Engineering College at which multinational companies like ORACLE,M/s Blue Star Infotech, Bangalore, M/s Big Ants, Bangalore, M/s Adithya Birla Group etc came for campus selection Campus Connect An MOU is signed between Infosys Technologies Ltd, Bangalore and the college, for the purpose of enriching the technical education process and to work jointly for enhancing the quality of education being imparted, under the Campus Connect initiative. it is aimed at creating Industry Ready IT professionals by aligning Engineering Student Skills with needs of the industry. In this project on Soft skills though Campus Connect, the faculty members as well as students are taken through various training modules. SMART Campus The entire campus is connected through intranet facility. Few Wi-Fi class rooms are also available. All students are provided with smart cards. All relevant details of the students including academic performance are stored in the e-Card. This enables easy storage and retrieval of all the data pertaining to the staff, students and the institution at large.
