History

ASIET was inaugurated on August 31st 2001 by then Chief Minister of Kerala Sree A. K. Antony. It started 4 branches of engineering Electronics Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology Electrical Electronics with 180 students as the first batch.ASIET is the first new generation engineering college which has acquired ISO certification in Quality Management by 2003. In 2004 the college launched the first national cultural and technical festival called “Brahma”. By middle of 2004 the college started its new course in MBA with first batch intake of 60 students. The ASIET has conducted a national conference in Management “ Sankara Darshan”, which was inaugurated by Dr. M. B. Athreya, Management Guru.
