M. B. Athreya
A
leading 'Management Guru' who combines a holistic blend
of academic and professional qualifications, and industrial,
teaching and consulting experiences in India and abroad,
Dr. Athreya spent a year at Stanford and two years at the
Harvard Business School and received his Doctorate in Business
Administration from there in 1967. Began consulting career
during 1967-72 as a faculty member of Indian Institute of
Management, Calcutta and has been an independent management
advisor, interacting with industry, government etc. He was
Chairman of the Telecom Restructuring Committee, 1991, was
elected fellow of the AIMA, ISTD and Institute of Management
Consultants of India and is the President of Sampradaan,
Indian Centre for Philanthropy.
